  • General note

    Thomas Barker built his villa, Roslyn Hall, next door to his two windmills. The first and largest of these was known as the Hope Mill and was erected in 1825, before any of the villas.
    The two windmills stood close together at the junction of Roslyn Street and Darlinghurst Road, and north of present day Kellett Street.
