  • Scope and Content
    Describes life of G.W. [George Watson] before conviction, general conduct, marriage, adultery, charges made, report on the trial, copies of letters dated 1840. Also reports on the case of James Johnson, charged of forgery on 29 Dec. 1841, with list of members of the Grand Jury held. Included are recipes for making various food products and condiments (such as white pepper, mustard, ginger, and treacle), and descriptions of the manufacturing of oils and tobacco.
