    Drawings - watercolour & manuscript illuminated address, 2 leaves on paper mounted on card with 3 oval photographs inset. Bound in black morocco, the cover panelled in gilt with central monogram - 40 x 31.2 cm.
  • Scope and Content
    An address from the committee and members of the Stanmore Spiritualist Church, written within the outline of a map of Australia, with a surround of Australian native flowers, including a kookaburra, a watercolour of Sydney Heads, and a coloured mechanical print of Sydney Town Hall. Committee members: Leader, Eleanor Morrell, President, William Morrell, Vice Presidents, Alex Cooper & John C. Breakspear, Secretary, John K. Bennetts, Treasurer, John Oates. Inset on the opposite page are three head and shoulders oval portrait photographs of the dedicators (2 males and 1 female, presumably Eleanor Morrell) with "ACD" monogram above. The monogram also appears in gilt on the front cover.
