Thomas Siderson was born in Kent, England in 1762. In 1818 he was sentenced to 14 years transportation. He arrived in Sydney on the Globe in 1819 and received a ticket of leave in 1822. He received his certificate of freedom after serving the full term of his sentence. - Scope and ContentCertificate of Freedom No. 32/680 signed by the Colonial Secretary, Alexander McLeay and registered in the Office of the Principal Superintendent of Convicts. On the reverse is a description of Siderson.
