  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

Wendy Jolliffe was a librarian at Thirroul Library in the 1980s and 1990s. She was a founding member of the D. H. Lawrence Society of Australia and was involved with the Friends of Wyewurk. During this time she compiled resources about D. H. Lawrence's visit to Australia in 1922, such as newscuttings and reviews of the novel, Kangaroo, that he wrote at Thirroul. Students of Dr Andrew Moore (University of Western Sydney) and other student groups visited the library to use the resources she had compiled.
