  Reg Hockey, a farmer from Parkes, New South Wales enlisted aged 22 years, 11 June 1917 and embarked from Sydney on HMAT A14 Euripides, 31 Oct. 1917. He was a driver in the Australian Army Service Corps, 29th Reinforcements and returned to Australia on HMAT Ruahine, 5 July 1918
