    Percy Hurley, a clerk of Gympie, Queensland enlisted as a private in the Australian Medical Corps, No 1 Australian General Hospital, May 1915, aged 21 years. He embarked from Fremantle, Western Australia, on board A62 Wandilla, 25 June 1915 and subsequently served in Egypt and France, being prompted to the rank of sergeant Jan. 1916. He was invalided to Australia on HT Beltana, 17 Mar. 1917
