    Frank Middleton Hassall, a railway cleaner of Cootamundra, N.S.W. was born in Adelaide and enlisted 21 Jan. 1915 aged 18. He served with the 17th Battalion, 5th Brigade at Gallipoli where he was wounded, 23 Sept. 1915 and in France, where he was killed in action, 6 June 1916
