  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Alexander MacCormick, surgeon, was born in Argyllshire, Scotland and went to Australia in 1883 to teach at the University of Sydney. During World War I he was commissioned in the Australian Army Medical Corps in Lemnos and also served with the British Expeditionary Force as colonel and surgeon in France. His son was killed in action in France, 10 Oct. 1916
